Are the ABC islands outside the hurricane belt?
Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao lie south of the usual hurricane track, so direct hits are rare. Weather elsewhere in the Caribbean can still change a ship’s route.
Which Southern Caribbean ports suit hikers?
Dominica, St. Lucia and Grenada have rainforest trails, waterfalls and volcanic scenery within reach of the pier. Wear shoes with grip and pack for rain.
